2025 WAVJL Community teams trials

Service Description

Rossmoyne Volleyball Club is committed to growing the sport of Volleyball in WA and are attempting to create community based teams to offer students in Years 7- 12 (who are not already part of a WAVJL team) the opportunity to compete in Volleyball on Friday nights in Term 2 and 3 (competition does not occur in the school holidays). Training is likely to be Mondays, time and venue to be confirmed should you be offered a spot on a team. Costs for selected athletes will be $325 per athlete paid to Rossmoyne Volleyball Club to cover uniform (top), game fees, court hire, equipment etc. Selected athletes will need to have an 25/26 membership with VWA (Platinum WAVJL ($34) or Platinum u19 ($98) WAVJL membership covers you for WAVJL trainings and competition for 2025, whilst the u19 one covers you for all across all competitions and training for 2025 eg state trials, beach tournaments, skills programs etc). Trial bookings will close at 12:00 Wednesday the 19th NO LATE registrations will be possible Time slots for the trial will be released once numbers are finalised on Wednesday 19th at 17:00 We cannot guarantee that all trialing athletes will make a team, we cannot guarantee that a team will be made for your age group as numbers and coach and court availability will dictate our selections. If you are offered a place on a team you will need to respond to your offer within 24 hours and register within 48 hours. If you do not respond before the deadlines your spot will be offered to another player. WAVJL is a great platform for all abilities from beginner to advanced and is a great way for athletes of a similar age to get together and play volleyball on a Friday evening in terms 2 and 3.
